Ignore the first bit of the book it’s just faff and filler, your questions will start at Part 1.<\/p>\n
Part 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n Ch 11 – What BS761 applies to and what it doesn’t apply to and things to consider Part 2: It’s a big dictionary of common terms and phrases<\/strong><\/p>\n Part 3: (things you would need to consider if you were designing\/installing from scratch)<\/strong><\/p>\n Ch 31 – What’s it for, how it supplied and how’s it laid out Part 4: Is all about what you need to do with regards to safety within an electrical installation<\/strong><\/p>\n Ch 41 – Electric shock Part 5: Deals with the actual physical parts \/ equipment forming the electrical installation<\/strong><\/p>\n Ch 51 – Labels and conductor colours
\nCh 12 – The objectives of BS7671
\nCh 13 – Basic principles for electrical installation without the technical details these are in Parts 3 to 7<\/p>\n
\nCh 32 – Environmental conditions ie wet, warm etc
\nCh 33 – Any parts of the installation\/equipment that may have a detrimental effect upon other parts.
\nCh 34 – Need to and how it’s maintained throughout it’s life
\nCh 35 – Any safety services – fire alarms to supply etc
\nCh 36 – Is there anything you don’t want to go off, pop or bang<\/p>\n
\nCh 42 – Heat, smoke and fire
