Finally the new On-Site Guides have arrived and we have started to ship them out to our 17th Edition online students.
Based on the latest edition of BS7671:2008+A3:2015 they are a helpful tool to studying the Wiring Regulations as well as a useful guide to have in the van.
Useful bits are Section 4 and protective devices. Section 4 Earthing and bonding and of course Section 8 Bathrooms.
The Inspection and Testing in Section 9 is spot on and is the same as the processes and pictures used in contents of Guidance Note 3. This alone makes it well worth the £27.00 or so price.
Use the regulation numbers in the margin to refer to what is said in BS7671 but remember that the OSG is not a replacement for your copy of BS7671.
