Plus provides a useful reference point for any future Inspection and Testing or installation work.
When To Use an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC)
To confirmation that a new installation is safe and also to confirm that an amendment or alteration that required the addition of a new circuit is safe.

When to Use a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate (MEIWC)
To confirm that an addition or alteration that did not require the installation of a new circuit is safe.
